Arcade game companies started springing up in the 1960ís and have been growing ever since. The games have gotten a little smaller but with better graphics over the years.

It is one of the fastest growing businessís to have ever hit the market in history. It is a very profitable industry and the technology is endless.

The graphics of arcade games were very basic in the beginning. Without macromedia flash software or java sun plugging everything was kept very simplistic.

There were very limited games in the beginning and they swayed toward the humorous genre.

Today you can find classic arcade games on the internet. You can even find them at game stores where they have been modified to be played on current game systems.

Games have changed so much over time that looking back on what they use to be is almost scary. With todayís limitless multiplayer games, and 3D games compared to 2D games that only allowed 1-2 players there is obviously a huge difference.

You can play a game on your home television or on your home computer now, but back then you had to play in the local soda shop because the games were so big. Home games didnít really happen until 1970ís.

Itís always fun to revisit the past and play games that your parents and grandparents were playing back then. There are even games out there from your own childhood.
