Cheat Codes Xbox

So you want to learn how to fix an xbox? I imagine that you are feeling burnt my Microsoft - you bought an Xbox but it breaks after a few days and gives you the dreaded 3 red lights. I know the feeling. It happened to me and boy was I angry.

But instead of sulking, I searched around and learnt how to fix an xbox. I know that I am not the only one, so here are the 7 steps I used. Mind you, it is only a temporary fix of 4 - 5 days.

  1. Turn your Xbox off and unplug every cable except the power cable.
  2. Turn your Xbox on and wrap it tightly in a towel (I know it sounds silly, but it works).
  3. Grab two more towels and wrap them around like the first one.
  4. Now just leave the Xbox on, all wrapped up for 20 - 25 minutes.
  5. When you come back, it should be hot but that's the point. Take the towels off it, turn it off and let it cool for the next 15 minutes. If you have an air conditioner you can turn that on to speed up the process.
  6. When it has cooled down, plug every cable back in and put the Xbox where it usually sits.
  7. Now is the moment of truth. Start praying and turn it on. You should have a green light and be able to play your favorite games for another few days.

With these 7 steps you now know how to fix an Xbox. It's not a complicated procedure; I think my 3 year old brother could even do it! Microsoft ripped a lot of people off with its faulty hardware, but with this trick you can be up and running in less than an hour.

Remember that it's only a temporary fix. Your Xbox should work for 4 - 5 days, but after that you may get the 3 red lights. If this happens, just rinse and repeat the 7 steps above of how to fix an xbox.
